About us
Pharmycron Service GmbH was established in the year 2004 in St. Ingbert. Our key business is the micronization of pharmaceutical raw materials under commission. But we also offer milling or micronization of natural materials and other raw materials under guarantee of high quality standards.
We have been GMP certified by the public authorities of the Saarland since 2006. We are constantly expanding on this high standard and have been able to prove this at the regular follow up inspections by the authorities. We also have a manufacturing permit for the treatment of products from animal or microbial sources pursuant to §13 AMG.
Our production comprises the micronization of powdered raw materials (API’s) by means of air jet mills and the million of fibrous and brittle raw materials (API’s) with planetary ball mills and rotor speed mills. A further service is the carrying out of sieving. This can be for protective sieving or to set the particle sizes.
Our efficient structure enables us to offer a cost-effective and fast fulfilment of orders. These can start with a small test-micronization and go up to routine operations comprising several tons.

Our analytical laboratory is equipped with the most up to date of measurement machinery to control the distribution of particle sizes (Malvern Mastersizer, air pressure sieve). In addition we have appropriate measurement equipment for determining identity and cleaning controls (IR, UV-vis). Together with our qualified partners we cover the entire analytical spectrum.
Since 2013 we have been integrated into the Peptido Group whilst maintaining the valued employee structure. In this close cooperation we are benefited by the know-how of a US-FDA qualified active ingredient manufacturer with multi-faceted analytical opportunities.
Since April 2014 Dr Michael Fünfrocken and Dr Uwe Wahren have been appointed the Managing Directors of Pharmycron Service GmbH.
